Our Story

My name is Zach, I am the owner of Zapphire™ and Zapphire Mixology. I wanted to share a little about myself and the idea behind Zapphire Mixology:

Zapphire Mixology was born out of a desire to do things the right way — with passion, creativity, and care for the craft. After years of working in bars, restaurants, and high-end speakeasies, I got tired of watching shortcuts ruin good cocktails and guests being served with little thought or intention. So I set out to build something better.

After leaving the corporate world in 2018 to pursue my passions in music and hospitality, I spent years refining my skills behind the bar — learning what makes a drink not just good, but memorable. From a perfectly balanced Old Fashioned (no muddled fruit here) to elegant custom creations, Zapphire Mixology brings elevated cocktails to events of all kinds — weddings, private parties, and everything in between.

Based in Boston, MA and serving all of Massachusetts, I bring the bar to you — literally. Our mobile setup is sleek, stylish, and fully equipped for high-end service. Whether you’re hosting a laid-back outdoor celebration or an indoor upscale soirée, Zapphire Mixology is for those who appreciate drinks that look as good as they taste.

The name “Zapphire” blends my name, Zach, with my mother’s birthstone — a small tribute to the people and passions that fuel everything I do.
